It gives me great pleasure to inform you of the merging of my dental practice with the practices of William Ossakow, D.D.S.and Kevin Skinner, D.D.S.  You should notice little change, since I will still be seeing patients at the Lansdowne office.  We will still provide exemplary care to our patients with expanded services and improved access to dental hygiene.

Doctors Skinner and Ossakow have successful dental practices in Herndon and Centreville.  They are both graduates from the Medical College of Virginia.  Like me, they have dedicated their professional careers to providing their patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.

Dr. Stephen Belmonte’s practice is built upon RELATIONSHIPS with patients; we are not a “revolving door clinic;” we take time to listen. The time reserved is for you, for a one on one treatment experience.

Dr. Stephen A. Belmonte Originally from California, Dr. Steve Belmonte completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Marine Biology. In 1987 he graduated from Chicago’s Loyola University School of Dentistry. He went on to complete a one-year postdoctoral residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital at Great Lakes, near Chicago, IL. He served nine years in the Navy at duty stations in Memphis, TN; Pearl Harbor, HI; and Orange County, CA. Dr. Belmonte left the Navy in 1997 and associated with a world-renowned cosmetic and restorative practice for five years in Middleburg, VA. It was here that he became proficient at conservative adhesive dentistry. (These restorations preserve natural tooth structure while rebuilding teeth to their original strength.) Dr. Belmonte is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires over 500 hours of continuing education and an extensive written exam. He is a dedicated member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He resides in Round Hill Virginia with his wife Linda who heads up the Infection Control department at Loudoun Hospital. Their pride and joy are two boys, Mark, 7 years old and Ethan, 3 years old.

Christina Derosier Christina Derosier, Business Coordinator, has been in the field of dentistry for the past nine years. She joined the practice in August of 2004 bringing extensive knowledge and skills. Christina has over 9 years of dental experience and over 14 years in customer care. Hobbies include reading and music. Christina currently resides in Winchester, Virginia with her husband and two daughters. Her favorite aspect about the dental field is relationship building with our wonderful patients. Christina is dedicated to exceeding the quality of care you would expect.

Mary Licodo Mary started her career as a dental technician in 1989, after years of being a certified nursing assistant in Maryland. She currently resides in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia with one of her five children and her dog. When asked what she likes the most about her job she replies “that’s easy, our wonderful patients!”

It is my firm belief that all patients who come to this office want and deserve the finest dental care that can be provided. After years of experience in private practice, I know that problems can occur when money is involved. I feel that the best dental care can only be provided when definitive financial arrangements are agreed upon in advance.

In our practice, the treatment is decided between the Dentist and the patient, serving the best interest of the patient at all times regardless of what is covered or not covered by ones insurance plan.

Our office accepts all PPO insurance plans. Most plans do not require a co-pay for preventive and diagnostic services. Co-pays for restorative procedures are collected at the time of service, with the balance billed to your insurance company. We also honor negotiated contract fees for the following plans: Cigna, Delta Dental, GEHA, & United Healthcare.

(Plans that pay on a fee schedule determined by your employer, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans require full payment at the time of service. We will still file your claim and you will be reimbursed by your insurance company. Due to the structure of these plans we are unable to calculate co-payments and accept reimbursement.)
